Use of Kitchen and Serving Food and/or Drink

Using the Kitchen
Please note that Cooking is not allowed. The Hirer may use the oven, hob and microwave to heat food but meals cannot be prepared and cooked from scratch on the premises. If the Hirer is serving or selling food, they must observe all the relevant health and hygiene legislation and regulations. The Hall shall not be liable for any consequences arising from failure on the part of the Hirer to adhere to these regulations.
Food and Drink
-
It is essential that should food and/or drink be served, then, at the end of the event, the Hall is swept and mopped as It is almost inevitable that some food and/or drink will be spilt. It is the Hirer's responsibility to ensure that the floor is properly cleaned and any tables used must also be cleaned.
-
To be clear, meals to be served hot cannot be prepared and then cooked from scratch (see 19 below)
-
There is limited crockery and glassware available but there is no cutlery provided. The Hirer should therefore provide their own if required. We would recommend using environmentally-friendly disposable cutlery, plates, cups and glassware.
-
Please note that if the Hall (including the tables & Kitchen) is not properly cleaned, a charge to cover the cost may, at our discretion, be deducted from the Security Deposit.
